MACADAMIA NUT DRESSING
Ingredients:
Herb Seasoned Croutons 1 lb
Diced Smoked Bacon 8 oz
Diced Onions 8 oz or 1 large onion
Left over sausage (optional) 8 oz (cooked and coarsely diced)
Celery (Diced Small) 3 stalks
Chicken Stock 4 cups (or more to desired moistness)
Fresh Sage 1 TBSP (finely minced)
Cooked Ground Giblets 8 oz (cooked in stock, cooled and minced)
Macadamia Nuts 8 oz (toasted, chopped)
Method of Prep: Place Bacon in hot Skillet and sauté until ¾ way done. Add onions and celery. Sauté until cooked, add cooked ground sausage if you desire, stir in croutons and mix well. Moisten entire dressing by adding very rich chicken stock. Gently fold in fresh minced sage and toasted Mac nuts. Depending on how moist you want your stuffing, you may add more stock.
Depending on your chicken stock, you may adjust with salt and pepper according to your taste.
